The Hot Dog Story: My favorite example from the book involves a guest who mentioned wanting to try an authentic NYC hot dog before catching their flight. Instead of just nodding politely, the staff dispatched someone to buy a hot dog, had the chef plate it on a silver platter with perfect condiments and beer pairing. Cost: maybe $5.
